Introduction

In March 1975, sodinsa, s.a. began its operations as a consultancy engineering firm.
Having been involved in over 400 projects, sodinsa, s.a. is firmly established in the field of consultancy and construction in Venezuela.
Its main offices are located in Caracas and Puerto Ordaz, however, its territorial coverage can adapt to specific project needs.

Engineering Objective

sodinsa, s.a. has multidisciplinary teams that possess the knowledge, capacity and experience required to achieve our objectives and on occasions can be supplemented by specialists.
In addition, sodinsa, s.a. has administrative and managerial teams that guarantee the planning and execution of projects within the stipulated time and cost.

General Objective

We specialise in providing excellent, integral and competitive solutions to private and governmental organisations in the areas of engineering, architecture, planning, maintenance, construction, inspection and project management and supervision of construction.
sodinsa, s.a. executes, among other modalities, EPC contracts (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and can intervene at any stage of a project, from its conceptual phase to its final execution.

sodinsa, s.a. has as main premise the continuous improvement of its quality system and the training of its human component with a view to satisfying client needs and strengthening its presence in the national and international market.

Specialisation Fields

The knowledge acquired over the years has equipped us to carry out projects in different specialties which include:

	Architecture: Construction and refurbishment projects of industrial facilities, buildings and housing.
	Mechanical engineering: Projects for oil and chemical processing plants, pumping and compression plants, gasducts pipelines and aqueducts, oil stations, conveyor transports, ovens, atmospheric and pressurised tanks, fire detection and extinction systems and air conditioning projects.
	Civil engineering: Topographical and geotechnical studies, hydraulic, hydrological and geomorphologic, concrete and steel structures, foundations and sanitary works.
	Electric engineering: Power systems design, including transmission lines and electric substations, motor control centers, illumination systems, cathodic protection, ground resistivity studies, communication and signalling and atmospheric discharges protection.
	Process engineering: Process diagrams (PFD), automation of industrial plants, residences and building.
	Instrumentation: Process instrumentation (PID), selection of instruments and equipments, process optimisation.
	Environmental engineering: Supply of potable water, handling of solid waste, residual waters and toxic waste. Environmental impact studies, consultation services, audit and engineering in those projects that have required fulfilling the requirements of the environmental offices. sodinsa, s.a. is registered before the Minister of Environmental and Natural Recourses of Republic of Venezuela.
	Maintenance engineering: Maintenance of oil facilities associated to the transport and distribution of gas.
	Procurement of equipment and materials.
	Technical services: These services include activities related to project planning, progress and cost control and preparation of technical specifications.
